DAY ONE AND TWO IN ITALY!! =D
photobucket is being a real turtle, working EVER SO SLOWLY. gosh. i can't even upload a photo!! anyway, i found a picasa programme that uploads photos onto blogger en masse, and it's quicker and better! =D too bad they don't have this for LJ.
anywhoo!!!
day one -
we left for the airport on thursday 21st dec '06 and reached there about eleven? and yeah it was SO early cause our flight is at 220am on the 22nd of dec. thats why some of you guys saw me online! i was using the internet msn. =D tee hee.
day two -
was spent in the airplane!! gosh. from singapore to dubai and then to italy. we reached dubai about 6am (dubai time) which is 10am in singapore time.
my family!! =DD
and this would be the dubai airport filled with shops. perfumes are sold at a cheaper price there, but other then that? everything else is OVERPRICED.

me actioning. gosh, i behave as if it's my first time on the plane! haha!
LOOKIE. its my mum playing the inflight games! it's so funny!! seeing how she always nags at us playing games. now she's at it. =D
arrived at milan at around 12am (italy time [it's like the longest morning ever]) which is singapore 7pm. and we went straight to our hotel.
now this is our hotel. hotel lodi. although it's FOUR STARS. but goodness me. it feels like a TWO STAR hotel. even hotel 81 is SO MUCH BETTER PLEASE?!

this is the toilet.
and this is the feet washing thing. they have it in EVERY SINGLE hotel. haha.
our beds. it's REALLY soft. nothing like king koi. and it has the itchy thing for the blanket.
and all hotels in europe do not come with the air con? only the heater. so.... sigh! it was HOT and DRY in the room!!
this is the hall? and it's REALLY dark at night. because the walls are painted blue? it dims everything else. making it really scary.
my parents were placed a level below us? so it's like i had to walk down the hall down to their room. ALONE. scary.

that's a shopping centre (something like siglap centre? only much much emptier) right at the left. the white building.
my family and i went to buy some chicken sandwichy thing for dinner. and this must be our VERY FIRST unglam dinner on the floor. haha! my parents were not used to it man. and my mum scolded me for taking a candid shot! i mean i LOVE candid shots. it's so much nicer then posed for shots. haha.

and that marks the end of our first night in italy. now that i'm blogging about it? i'm kind of missing it there. although the weather sucked and it made me all pimply. haha.
